Myself and fellow Bloggers hanging out with Ex-Dolphin Football players!
By now all your holiday decorations are neatly stored away and the rush of the next exciting sale seems like a distant memory, that is until the next major holiday season. But why wait until the next holiday season to shop at bargain prices? As a strategic shopper, you know that you will have to improvise and to find ways to obtain discounts on the next HOT products that we love and need! Well, you know that here at Miami Mommy Savings, we pride ourselves in finding ways to save you your hard-earned cash. Online retailers offer discount opportunities year round, but what about locally? Last Saturday, myself along with a few select South Florida bloggers, were invited to experience & learn about COUWALLA at the Westfield Broward Mall and Brio Restaurant in Plantation.
While at Brio, we learned the history behind the Couwalla app as well as hear from Keith Sims, well known in South Florida as “Coupon Keith”. If you have never eaten at Brio, I highly recommend it and you should definitely try the Spinach dip. Oh, YUM! Couwalla is a leading money-saving smartphone application that provides geo-targeted value, savings, and deals. Today, I want to share with you how to save money throughout the year using Couwalla.
How to Save Money Throughout the Year with Couwalla!
How can Couwalla help save you money? First, start by downloading the Couwalla app, it’s free, and available on Google Play, on the App Store or by texting “Savings” to 30241 to receive a link to download COUWALLA. As soon as you download the app, Couwalla will populate with hundreds of local coupons available in your area. You will be able to select pre-clipped coupons via the category section in the app. Whether, you are looking for dinning or apparel savings, all the savings available will be at the touch of a button. By February there will be closed to 45,000 coupons available on the app and more to come in the following months. No more clipping coupons and/or searching online to find local and national savings in one place, isn’t that handy? I think so!
Currently, Couwalla is only available in the South Florida area, however, they are expanding into new markets each month. One thing I personally love about this app is that not only does it help save me money, it also helps you and I to donate to charitable foundations through the Couwalla Cares program, philanthropic program, in which supporters of participating charities who download Couwalla will receive a donation from Couwalla. That means, that every time the app is downloaded $1.00 goes to the participating charities of the month and each month a new participating charity is featured. Keith Sims, Couwalla’s spokeperson and ex-Dolphin football player, swears by this app. He told us that he shops with this app in hand to score the biggest saves available. So, don’t take my word for it, Couwalla will help you save money all year long! For more information visit the Couwalla App Website here.
